Well spent Wednesdays.

 Me again.

I had another day off from work today which I was cheesin about. I had the dentist at 9:00am which put a bit of a downer on things but apparently I have 'very healthy gums', quids in.

There is a lovely wee cafe just up from the dentist, so after about 4 espressos I decided to dive into my new book 'the fault in our stars' it's looking promising. After 4 hours of sitting solo my gal pal Mila joined me for some hearty soup and homemade bread which was bliss and we headed out into the chilly Autumn day.

Bagged a coat for 18 pounds, bargaainn!

A/W pastels

As we head into these chilly autumn months There are a few prominent trends coming into light. Winter pastels being one. I absolutely love the sugary subtle tones of pastels no matter what time of year, it is such a great trend.

Country Gal...

Sorry I haven't posted in so loong ! I've been away in far flung places.

I'm up north at the moment so decided to take advantage of the intermittent sunshine and lovely surroundings. I went down to the river and took photos based on 4 outfits, which turned out alright I think.
I'm such a fan of pastel colours and think they work all year round, also I love a cheeky wee peter pan collar. the scrunchie is making it's way back into the spot light. Hope ya enjoy.

Hopping,Bopping and Charity Shop Shopping

Good Day

Edinburgh has such an impressive collection of charity shops , and I just love dedicating a day to go looking round all of them. Even if you're not looking properly you will ALWAYS find something. i've always shopped in charity shops but i'm trying to save up for a trip, so as they're so good for bargains i find myself there a lot. Just remember if you're in a charity shop you need to have a good forage, the exciting stuff won't just hand itself over to you.
These are some of the items I managed to get in just a couple of hours. Everything is from charity excluding the brogues and the spiky necklace.

What's the best bargain you've ever got in a charity/thrift shop?
