Ello!

I had a day off from work today so didn't get out of bed until 12. After watching the exhilarating 'bargain hunt' decided to finally leave my room and walk my dog which was equally exciting. It was a shame cause the day seemed so short and the light started to fade but I just managed to catch it and took some photos of my outfit today for everyone to see. Quality.

Salut! 
I am such a sucker for impulse buying and recently on these rainy summer days. I find myself browsing endlessly through sites like Pinterest just loving everything I see. So to try and tame the temptation of internet shopping I decided to make a monthly wish list which will hopefully keep my spending down and my wardrobe neat!
Plain high waisted shorts are so good cause they just go with everything, they're there just as a wee staple piece. A nice kimono is a must have this summer especially in Scotland to hide you from the cool breeze. Beanie hats have been so popular recently and are great if you want to make something look more casual.I have been looking for a nice pair of boots for ages and these look perfect , Some Sunglasses to pretend it's sunny then a few other bits and bobs.

I feel like shoes have been neglected a wee bit in my posts so i've made a collection of my current top 5 pairs of shoes. yas. I avoid heels at all costs I can JUST manage a heeled boot or a platform but from there as I found out last Saturday night, I end up flat on my face. But there is plenty of options for those stiletto amateurs and anyway the person with the flats is always the last one dancin'.

Sorry I haven't posted in so loong ! I've been away in far flung places.

I'm up north at the moment so decided to take advantage of the intermittent sunshine and lovely surroundings. I went down to the river and took photos based on 4 outfits, which turned out alright I think.

I'm such a fan of pastel colours and think they work all year round, also I love a cheeky wee peter pan collar. the scrunchie is making it's way back into the spot light. Hope ya enjoy.

Portfolio Preparations

Hello! 

My non-existent portfolio really gets me down sometimes and although in the past I have tried to scrape something together, I thought it might be time to actually have a go, since I do need it for the course I am applying for... SO today me and my pal Gill got on our bikes and tried to find a good location. Of course it was 2 degrees and absolutely pouring which was not the best conditions, but in Scotland you don't really get much better. Originally I had pictured a natural setting with leaves and twigs, but today the muddy puddles were to much to handle. We managed to find a nice wee spot by the parliament. After standing in the rain for an hour taking photos I think I might have something to show for it, Hope you like.
